Does anybody else notice that "smart" people are really dumb?

Book smarts and street smarts are totally two different things and it's such a rare occurrence to find the two in the same person. These so called, "smart" people may have a grasp at calculating and technical issues, but when it comes to sense and logic they become dumb as a wet paper bag of rocks. Remember these are also the same people that do the things that "Just because you can, doesn't mean you should" like the fools that thought creating a man-made black hole on earth was a good idea. Yeah, that'll have really good results. We have to stop getting led to believe that these intellectual masterminds are capable of taking care of themselves. We need the "Common Sense" Geniuses baby-sitting the "Book" geniuses, so they don't get all of us into trouble.
