I need advice!!!?

there is this boy and we have been talking but not really a couple i tell ppl hes my bf nd stuff lk that but we r not official and weve been talkin for 7 months and a few months ago he moved in wit me and my parents but we r still not a couple and hes black nd im white so my parents dont realy approve but they wouldnt mind bcus they like him but how can i get him to make it official every time i talk about it he says im not ready for that but i am i havent been seein any1 else since weve startin talkin and could it have sumthing to do with hes babymother??? please help
