Well I'm positive that spit of an infected person should not be contagious because of many reasons. one, you didn't have an open wound that can take the spit into your bloodstream. two, the chances of getting an infection through means of spitting is quite rare. Three you have cleaned off the area within the right time. But as a precaution do see a doctor if u start developing symptoms. Hope this helps
