How do i stop my girlfriend from being jealous?

i just went to a bar last night with my group of friends, she wasn't able to come. now i didn't do anything wrong that night, but she suspects that i flirted. why cant she trust.. i have never cheated on her and i constantly show her that i do love her, and yet, she doest trust me.. i don't restrict her from going out..
