Which lax stick is better for a middie?

They're both beginner shafts and they're both pretty bad. Of the two I would go with the Brine just because it's the lesser of two evils. The warrior is heavy, dents horribly and cut lines in my gloves my first year. The brine isn't much better but at least it has a softer grip. Just spend the extra money and go with the Warrior Platinum or the STX steel.
